A couple of Shabby Apple dresses…

This has been an extremely unproductive week for me.

I started to feel a bit under the weather on Monday and could tell I was heading towards a head cold.  By Tuesday night I had a fever and ended up staying home from work today so I could rest.  The fever is back, but I am hoping to feel better tomorrow!

As a result, I haven’t been able to get much done with the blog – I have a couple of posts in the wings that still need to be finished, and I have a lot of comments to catch up on.  I also have a lot of blog reading I need to get to, but frankly, I can’t concentrate on any of it right now.

However, I still really wanted to post something other than the usual “daily inspiration” so that brings me to this.

I need some shopping advice!

I am getting ready to make my first purchase from Shabby Apple (thanks to a GREAT Groupon deal I recently snagged) and I have narrowed my choices to the 2 dresses below.

Knowing that I have what is characterized as an hourglass figure – which of these do you prefer?

I think I am leaning towards the black sheath, but I’d love to hear your thoughts!

To have a wasp waist is a dream for every woman. Many women, even exercises for hourglass figure because it is the model to attract the attention of women.

Thanks everyone! It appears the black sheath wins, hands down!

Finally feeling a bit better – relaxed a lot and watched a LOT of Mad Men the last few days. Hopefully I'll be 100% by Sunday!

Oh I definitely like the black one… great neck line, and the sleeve length is cute.

Definitely the Black frock, the style and length is so much better! Pleating on the hem is not most flattering and esp. at that length on the grey dress.

Definitely the black one! The cut-out draws attention up to your face and I think the length is better. Shorter hem=longer leg!

Aww… fell better! Lots of rest and plenty of fluids!

I don't think you can go wrong with either of those dresses in an hourglass figure. They both look like their made for Joan Holloway.
