Photoshoot: Anne Hathaway by Mert and Marcus for Interview Magazine, September 2011

I couldn’t help myself. I normally try to avoid posting photoshoots that I am sure you have already seen elsewhere, but I am completely smitten with this one.

I have a soft spot for black and white photography as is, but there is something so mysterious and dangerous about this one – I can’t tear my eyes away from it.

And the styling? Spectacular. The shoot showcases the always beautiful Anne Hathaway in some amazing designs including gowns by Valentino, Dior and Alexander McQueen, veils by New York Vintage and belts by TOM FORD.

Wow. That is one of the most stunning editorials I’ve seen in a long time.
And this sounds like a backhanded compliment, but Anne Hathaway has the perfect features for black and white – she is so striking and dramatic.

She’s simply perfect! I went out & bought last month’s Harpers because she was on the cover. She’s gorgeous but so likeable, you can’t hate her! 🙂

wow! I’m speechless…don’t worry I haven’t seen the photoshoot anywhere before!! I am a fan of Anne Hathaway, I find her very talented and it’s nice to see her in a different kind of photoshoot.

Wow, Anne looks amazing! My favorite photos are the ones where it looks like she’s blending into the statues. It’s pretty intense. Thanks for posting these photos, I haven’t seen them before. 😀 I must just be out of the loop. ; P

I’ve felt that way about posting editorials that are “making the rounds”, but you never know who’s living under a rock/doesn’t have time to see even the most popular shoots. People like me, right now, because I had only seen the cover of this. So thank you for posting about it!

I always love Anne for her priceless personality, but I’ll admit I’m less interested in her in film and modeling. I’m sure that sounds completely absurd. As far as film, she’ll always be Mia Thermopolis to me and as far as modeling…she’ll always be Mia Thermopolis to me. But. I’m really impressed by this one! She did a lovely job and the clothes! I think the fourth is my favorite, but I really love everything here. The cover is just amazing, too. Reminds me of Liv Tyler!

This is probably the most gorgeous photoshoot I’ve seen of Anne. I love that they’re black and white. I feel like it completes the haunting nature of this shoot. These are seriously stunning. Thank you for sharing them!

I actually don’t see Anne Hathaway in the photos—- there is something ambiguous about her identity, but the photos and styling are stunning…..
