Nice. Stylist friends on both coasts – that is definitely helpful!

I agree, finding the right salon is very tricky. That’s why word of mouth is so important – although sharing the love means even MORE challenging scheduling, for sure.

Thank you for your comment. I am not surprised to hear that Barbara also does equally fine work on males. In some way I think men’s cuts can be even more challenging than women’s – finding a great stylist is key for both sexes!

I agree… I think word of mouth is more telling than price. If a salon and/or a stylist has a great reputation, its usually for a reason, regardless of price. Every time I have tried someone knew its been nerve-wracking – it is our hair after all! Luckily this last time it worked out beautifully. I hope you have found a good one in Boston!

You are definitely lucky in that you have such a talented mom who can work her magic in private! Your hair is perfect.

I am past the humiliation aspect of having my hair done in public after all these years, but I have to say that the privacy you get at b.fazio is an added bonus. LOVE.

I know the feeling, doll. There have been times when I have walked out of a salon with products that cost more than my services did! I have a problem, but that is OK. It’s a fun one 🙂

I haven’t had that experience yet (where it starts off good, but goes bad) but i did have a couple stylists that I liked who then moved away. I couldn’t justify a 2 hour trip to keep seeing them! Hope your new stylist works out for you!
