My personal experience with these:
1. Hootsuite – I didn’t like it, mainly because I’ve had hard times differentiating when new twitter messages arrive.
2. Tweetdeck – it has so many bugs that I simply wonder if it’s close to EOL. I haven’t got any response on my support tickets (3 or 4). Facebook account – not anymore.
3. Seesmic – so far it seems the only possible candidate for someone who wants to have Twitter, Linked In and Facebook on the same place. This is invaluable – once or twice per day you visit only one place and get informed what’s happening in your networks.
However, my personal preference would be to have one single mixed news stream, rather than having them separated, but I guess most of the people want them distinctively away from each other.
