I too am in lust with Tom Ford… not for his physicality (not my ‘type’ really) but because of the way he loves women… even though he is gay, he truly loves women… he would make you feel so sexy and sensual and delicious… I once got painted… physically painted, my body was the canvas!… by an artist for his exhibition and it was so surreal and so sensual… simply because my body was being treated like a work of art and and appreciated for all its feminine luxury but it wasn’t reciprocal, as in it wasn’t done because of mutual appreciation or adoration given for ‘ulterior motive’…(gosh I hope I’m making sense, it’s way after 2am here but I need to catch up with my fave blogs! yes yes I’m entering martydom!)… my body was objectively but in a very nourishing manner, worshipped simply because I’m a woman.

Anyway long story, need to learn brevity… it’s not my forte… Tom Ford is like that… absolutely gay but oh God, he is in to women…!!

I have watched the show many times now. I’m not in to fashion (despite being in to clothes) but I LOVED this show… it was how fashion parades should be… a celebration of WOMAN. Fantasy sure but oh how glorious.

I wish I had been there in person. That has now become a goal on my Bucket list – to be invited to a Tom Ford Womanswear Showing!

Yes, as far as I know, the collection is being sold in his menswear stores only. I don’t know if there are any plans to expand that at all!

I see what you are saying. It is almost more like a rock video than a typical runway show video. I like the editing though – it leaves you wanting more, which is exactly where he wants us!

Agreed! I am willing to bet that in Mr. Ford’s case, however, he will be keeping his A/W 2011 show press-free yet again. He knows how to ramp up the anticipation for his collection in a way no one else can!
