The made-up children are child models of the Tears and Tiaras ilk. Probably directly as a result of that particular photo-shoot, child beauty pageants have been banned in France. Organisers of such pageants may face a jail term of up to two years and a fine of €30,000.

That interview shed a lot of light into why he kept his preview “closed”, and it all makes sense. I can’t wait to see who he dresses for the Oscars!

I also can’t wait until the collection is actually available for purchase. I need to start saving my pennies now.

I think it fairly typical for Vogue France, although I think Vogue Italia usually wins out in the “provocative” category. The Holiday Issue for Vogue Paris is usually a keeper.

Oh my…looks like a bold and bawdy issue! I’m intrigued by the sexy senior citizens in particular — interested to see if that “Forever Love” theme is carried through the story as senior romance. So many topics look provocative, even the advertorial with the highly maquillaged children. Is this usual for Vogue France? The one other issue I’ve examined in depth, Sept. 2010, of course featured another Terry Richardson shoot, as well as Marion Cotillard in kinky couture. So again, provocative.
